Abdul Matin Amin
Founder, Global Gate Group LLC
Abdul Matin Amin is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Global Gate Group LLC. He holds a Master’s degree in International Relations, with a thesis focused on Afghanistan, Central Asia, and Regional Connectivity, exploring the dynamics of trade, transit, and regional cooperation.
Mr. Amin comes from a family with more than five decades of experience in international trade — particularly in the export and import of dried fruits between Afghanistan, Central Asia, Pakistan, and India. This strong family background instilled in him the values of trust, integrity, and long-term partnership, which continue to guide his professional path.
In 2017, he founded Sophia Dried Fruits Company, where he worked to expand Afghanistan’s export potential and empower local communities. Through this initiative, he trained and supported dozens of women in cleaning, processing, and packaging of dry fruits, while representing Afghan products in international exhibitions and trade events.
As a diplomat of Afghanistan in the United Arab Emirates, Mr. Amin actively supported Afghan businesses and entrepreneurs through diplomatic gatherings and networking opportunities. He contributed to promoting Afghanistan’s private sector abroad, assisting startups, and encouraging stronger economic and cultural ties between Afghan and international business communities.
Beyond his diplomatic career, he has also contributed as a volunteer lecturer in management, sharing his expertise with students and young professionals.
Fluent in English, Arabic, Turkish, and several Central Asian languages, Mr. Amin brings together academic insight, diplomatic experience, and entrepreneurial vision to lead Global Gate Group with professionalism, transparency, and a commitment to sustainable growth.
